Marc Marquez and Joan Mir
Multiple world champion Marc Marquez and simple world champion Joan Mir are the riders who will once again make a bid for the world championship in 2023. The odds look hopeful after the test at Valencia late last year. Marquez is fit again after a lengthy injury and Mir is keen to become world champion again.
The 2023 MotoGP season begins Feb. 10 with a test at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia. This will be followed March 11 and 17 by another test at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugal. On March 26, at the same circuit, the championship will erupt. A total of 25 races will be held.
On June 25, the MotoGP circus will be in the Netherlands for the Motul TT Assen.
